Worrying about performance productivity

Often, we’re required in life and it’s expected of us to make out of the problems opportunities for change and facing difficulties; meaning, to think infinitely positively and optimistically, and surely facing the problems and solving them in a creative way, no matter what the costs were. To ease down our consciences, and move on to other cumulative problems in our lives, which makes us live in chaos, and not in a life that we deserve to enjoy.

With time passing by, life stir us with its different aspects; social, oneself, academic, financial and sensual to feelings of worry and heavy drain, feeling of guilt visits us for deficiency or negligence to any part; for example, if you gained weight because you cared more about studying, or started praying “far’idh” (i.e. Islamic duty) in the house, because you started being creative and worked an additional job or activity, and gave more effort in your career. Those examples might make you feel guilty and worried towards your life and priorities, and ask yourself the famous questions, till when am I staying like this?

The ambitious person is the only one who’s not known by words, for actions after the brave decisions are the only judge to whether this person is ambitious enough or just a talkative person. I think that it’s a heavy caliber word, if it was committed to . Each of us has his own ambitions, goals and dreams; we seek, risk and sacrifice in favor of achieving them, for excellence and succession to reach the summit. All of that can be motivating to continue the march on the superior line; what I call, unlimited creative break towards superiority, to please ourselves that we’re successful.

There are times when you become passionate in doing something, and you become enthused to blind in it and give it more effort and energy. You become happy and you enjoy what you are doing, then you exhaust yourself and spend your time in that thing and in the missions that tempt you to accomplish them and the joy of achieving them. Missions might increase more than what your expectations and you enroll in activities you never thought of getting involve in. Suddenly, you find that you are asked to achieve certain missions, report or a certain goal. Next, you start feeling tired, exhausted, anxious and nervous towards the huge amount of missions which are related to other missions. As if something is pulling you deep down, so, you are sinking and you don’t know where you are going. Some of the things that makes us anxious, completely exhausted and mentally drowsy; and I indicate here the meaning of the relation between mind and heart in daily decision making, for example:

- You wake up feeling tired.

- Feeling drowsy and having relaxed muscles.

- Feeling like avoiding others and staying alone.

- You use simulating drinks or food to cope with your work and extra activities

- You lose motivation or don’t receive it from others.

- You feel depressed although you are in control of the situation.

- You spend all your time at work, so no time is left for yourself or to give others anything.

The typical result out of these things are usually that you find yourself no longer caring about success; feeling drowsy, letdown, unenthused and lost your motivations. The most painful part is that the thing that you used to give your time, focus and care is no longer important to you. All that happens when you become imbalanced in your life aspects, your priorities and values.

Hani is a very smart senior engineering student, he has a high GPA (grade point average), his family is proud of his academic success. Moreover, he has good morals and a new BMW. Hani gave a lot of time and effort, especially in the academic side of his life; he gave countless efforts for that. But he admits that he has an imbalanced relationship with God, for he is not commit to praying in the mosque, he frequently skip it, also he has a weakness in communicating with others; he is not confident while talking with them, avoids relationships and family gatherings, he lacks a huge amount of skills and various self-abilities that lifts his value up when applying for a job. All that is, because of his focus on a certain thing in his life, later, Hani realized that he succeed in one aspect and failed in many other important and related aspects in his life. So, he decided to recount his life and balance between the different aspects to find complete self peace, confidence and getting ready to face anything that might intervene into his life, to produce more.

No matter how many times you failed in the past or lost your value, felt that your life is scattered and chaos around you, remember that you are supreme over these temporary things, your self is the weapon that never runs-out of supply; when your thoughts are refreshed, the giant within you is awaken, and the inner-energy is out, you’ll know your abilities and skills, and you’ll benefit from them, then you’ll become the one in-charge of your success’s progress, accomplishing your dreams and balancing between different aspects of your life.

A flick

Don’t think of the past, for it doesn’t think of you,

Think of the future, for its waiting for you,

Don’t forget that you own this moment now,

So, really enjoy it and GO.
